Welcome - Thattereen 2011/TTAP/Thattereen 2011

Thattereen is coming !

Thattereen is an event that is held annually, to celebrate being a Thatter, and help to raise funds for Charity. It is organised by the Take That Appreciation Pages, a fans' website - run by fans, for fans.

The reason it is called Thattereen is that it is always held on the Saturday closest to Halloween (31st October), a mixture of Halloween and Thatters = Thattereen!

A big thank you to the 200 Thatters who came along to Thattereen on 30th October 2010, held at the Renaissance Hotel.

Thatters raised a total of £1,759, after paying for the DJ and table decoration. A huge thank you goes to Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Jason Orange and Mark Owen for kindly signing some of our Auction items.

Thattereen 2011 will be our final Thattereen and it will be held, once again, at The Renaissance Hotel, Blackfriars Street, Manchester. 2011 will also mark the last time that The Renaissance will be holding an event for us because they close in 2012 as part of Manchester's Regeneration Project.

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at The Renaissance who have looked after us so well for the past 4 years, from the wonderful service provided, to the excellent food, accommodation and the helpfuilness of all staff has been amazing - we will miss you all!

Biggest thanks, as always go to the TTAP Events Team, who work so hard to put these events together, you are stars! Particular thanks to Cat and Natz who organise the wonderful openings each year, they never cease to amaze and each year it gets better, just when you think it can't get any better! All members of the TTAP Events Team are volunteers and give up their time very generously to help organise this wonderful annual event! Thank you all so very much

Welcome - Thattereen 2011
